The Hydra V2 addresses this by raising the optic centerline to 2.91 inches, which allows the shooter to maintain a more upright, heads-up stance rather than driving the chin down to find a cheek weld behind a low-mounted sight.

That elevated position also has a secondary benefit for anyone wearing body armor — keeping the spine vertical means the shooter presents plates to the threat rather than angling the torso forward and exposing gaps.
