Description
Grand Power builds this compact 9mm pistol magazine as a direct replacement for owners of the Q1S, P1S, and P11 platforms. Those are rotating-barrel pistols with a geometry that differs meaningfully from a standard Browning-tilt action, so drop-in fit matters more than it would with a generic single-stack design. Using a factory Grand Power magazine eliminates the guesswork of whether an aftermarket option will seat fully, lock the slide back reliably, and drop free cleanly on an empty.
The 12-round capacity puts this in compact-carry territory for those platforms — enough rounds to be practical while keeping the grip profile shorter than a flush-seated full-size magazine would allow. For shooters running a Q1S or P1S as a carry gun, that difference in grip length can affect concealment and holster selection in ways a few extra rounds rarely offset. For range use, the same magazine works as a reduced-capacity training aid or as a backup when the higher-capacity option is away for service.
Grand Power magazines are steel-bodied, which contributes to consistent feed-lip geometry over time compared to polymer alternatives that can deform under sustained compression. The black finish is the standard factory specification. At roughly a fifth of a pound empty, it adds negligible weight to the loaded pistol.
