Description
The P320-XTEN Endure Comp is Sig Sauer’s answer to a specific problem: a compact 10mm that can handle wet hands, rough country, and hard use without sacrificing shootability. It sits squarely in the role of a field carry pistol for hunters, backcountry travelers, and anyone who needs a serious-caliber handgun that stays ready in genuinely adverse conditions.
The compensated barrel does real work here. Ten millimeter generates enough muzzle rise that follow-up shot speed suffers noticeably in a standard-configuration pistol. The integrated compensator redirects gas to push the muzzle down during the firing cycle, keeping the sights on target faster between shots without adding a separate muzzle device. The 3.8-inch barrel keeps the overall package compact while still giving the cartridge enough dwell time to cycle reliably.
The slide receives a full Cerakote application in Moss Green with a laser-etched topographic pattern — that finish is there primarily for corrosion resistance, which matters when the gun is exposed to rain, sweat, humidity, and contact with wet vegetation over extended periods. The grip module carries an LXG laser stippling pattern purpose-built for wet-condition purchase, where standard textures become marginal. The slide is cut to the PRO optic footprint, so adding a red dot is straightforward without additional machining.
XRAY3 Day/Night Sights come installed from the factory, meaning the pistol is immediately usable in low light without any additional expenditure. Three 15-round magazines are included, which is a practical detail for anyone carrying spares in the field. No manual safety is present — the P320 platform relies on its trigger safety system, which suits a defensive and field-carry context where deactivating a manual safety under stress is a liability.
