Description
The NOCPIX RICO 3 H35R is a thermal rifle scope built for hunters who regularly take shots at extended ranges in low-light or no-light conditions and need a single optic that handles ranging, ballistic calculation, and image processing without external accessories. It fits on a standard MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail and detaches quickly, so moving it between rifles for different hunts is practical rather than ceremonial.
The 35mm F/1.0 germanium objective lens gathers a wide thermal signal, which matters at the edges of legal shooting light when heat signatures are subtle and backgrounds are still warm from the day. The 640×512 sensor with a 12μm pixel pitch produces finer spatial resolution than larger-pixel sensors of the same format—smaller pixels resolve more detail at a given focal length, which translates to cleaner target separation at distance. A 60 Hz refresh rate keeps moving animals fluid on screen and reduces the lag that can cause a shooter to misread a walking target’s direction.
The integrated 1,600-yard laser rangefinder feeds directly into the onboard ballistic calculator, so the shooter gets a corrected hold without switching devices or doing manual arithmetic. The rotating zoom lever lets you adjust magnification from 2× up to 8× digital without lifting your cheek from the stock, which matters when an animal closes distance unexpectedly. The circular AMOLED display is 1.03 inches across and runs at 2560×2560 resolution, keeping the image sharp even at maximum digital zoom. The quick-change NBP-8 battery system provides up to 10 hours of runtime, and the magnetic USB-C charging port allows field top-ups from a power bank without risking port damage if the cable snags.
