Description
The Accu-Tac G2 Spikes are replacement bipod feet designed for shooters who work on soft, uneven, or loose terrain where flat rubber feet tend to shift or sink. The spikes bite into the ground rather than resting on top of it, giving the bipod a planted, leveraged base that holds position through the shot and between shots.
Accu-Tac builds the G2 Spikes from steel, which gives them the mass and edge retention to repeatedly punch into packed dirt, turf, or gravel without deforming. The Black Oxide finish keeps corrosion at bay without adding significant thickness, so the fit against mating surfaces stays consistent over time. The finish also kills reflectivity, which matters in field conditions where a glint is a problem.
These were formerly sold under the LR-10 Spikes name and carry the same LRS-0200 part number, so they are a direct replacement if you already know the older product. At just under two ounces per spike, the weight trade-off versus rubber feet is minimal relative to the stability gain on terrain that would otherwise let the bipod creep or roll. If your shooting is predominantly done from a bench or hard floor, flat feet serve well enough — but for prone work on grass, sand, or loose soil, the spike design addresses a specific and real problem with a straightforward mechanical solution.
