The Accu-Tac WB-5 is built for precision shooting disciplines where a standard bipod’s narrow footprint becomes a liability — bench-rest competition, long-range prone work, and extreme long-range shooting where even minor recoil-induced movement costs you a follow-up shot. Its defining design choice is a wide, lowered center that allows the rifle to sit down between the legs rather than perching above them. That lower center of gravity shortens the lever arm between the bore axis and the ground contact points, which means the rifle returns to position more consistently after recoil rather than rocking forward or tipping to one side.
Four independent leg-angle positions let you adapt the stance to whatever surface you’re working from, and nine notch height adjustments handle the difference between a low bench, a shooting bag setup, or uneven field terrain without having to swap anything out. The cant function addresses the scenario the height adjustment can’t: ground that tilts across your shooting axis. A lever locks the cant once you’ve dialed it in, so it holds under recoil rather than creeping.
The entire structure is machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum with high-strength steel hardware at the stress points, then finished with a Type III MIL-SPEC hard anodize. That coating process builds a surface harder than the base aluminum, which matters for a bipod that spends time on concrete shooting benches and rough field surfaces. The quick-detach Picatinny mount indexes to a 1913 rail and releases without tools, so transitioning between rifles or storing the bipod flat doesn’t require a wrench. At just under 24 ounces, the WB-5 is not a lightweight field bipod — it is a stability-first platform for shooters who are optimizing for accuracy over portability.
