Description

The AD-AEMS is American Defense Mfg.’s purpose-built quick-detach mount for the Holosun AEMS red dot, aimed at shooters who need to pull their optic off the rifle and return it to zero without re-zeroing. The stock Holosun mount is a fixed, screwed-down affair; this one replaces it entirely with ADM’s Patented QD Auto Lock lever system, which clamps and releases without any dedicated tool — a finger or a flat-blade screwdriver handles lever tension adjustment. That same lever can be oriented to lock toward the muzzle or toward the shooter, so you can configure it to clear whatever else is on the rail or to suit your preference for manipulation.

The clamping geometry is designed to work on both in-spec and out-of-spec Picatinny rails, which matters because rail tolerances vary enough across receivers that a tightly fitted mount can bind or rock depending on the platform. The fully adjustable clamp addresses that without requiring shimming or gunsmithing.

This variant sits at lower 1/3 co-witness height, meaning your iron sights will appear in the lower portion of the optic’s window rather than centered in it — a practical choice when you want the red dot to dominate your sight picture during normal use while irons remain accessible for backup. The mount is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in Hard Coat Type 3 Mil-Spec anodize, which provides a harder surface than standard anodizing and resists wear at contact points. At 2.6 ounces, the weight penalty over a fixed mount is minimal. Made in the USA, and covered by ADM’s lifetime warranty. Optic and mounting screws are not included — use the factory hardware from the Holosun AEMS for installation.
