Arisaka Defense built the Low Profile Picatinny Rail for shooters who want to run a full-size accessory rail on an M-LOK handguard without the added height that standard Picatinny sections introduce. The low-profile geometry keeps a mounted light, laser, or pressure switch close to the bore axis, which matters most when running offset or angled setups where extra height changes your point of aim relative to the accessory’s activation angle.

The rail section spans three Picatinny slots, which is enough real estate for most lights and most laser units without extending unnecessarily past the accessory’s footprint. That compact length also means less interference with adjacent M-LOK slots, so you can position accessories closer together along the handguard than you could with a longer rail segment.

Mounting into M-LOK is straightforward: the rail indexes directly into the slots and clamps against the handguard’s flat, giving a repeatable return-to-zero if you ever remove and reinstall it. The anodized finish matches the hard-anodized aluminum common on most mil-spec handguards and keeps the rail corrosion-resistant in field conditions.
