The BCM GUNFIGHTER Vertical Grip Mod 3 is a low-profile foregrip built for shooters who want a positive, snag-resistant hold on a KeyMod handguard without adding bulk to the rifle’s profile. Its shorter length compared to a full-size vertical grip keeps the hand closer to the bore axis, which reduces leverage-induced torque during transitions and support-hand manipulations.

The grip’s forward cant is the defining ergonomic choice here. That angle firms up the forearm muscles when the hand is extended onto the handguard, and it orients the wrist into a more neutral position under recoil. If that doesn’t suit your preferred technique, the grip can be flipped and mounted in reverse so the curve faces forward, which changes how the firing hand indexes when reaching up to manage the handguard rather than wrapping the grip itself. Neither orientation requires any modification to the grip.

The flat sides are intentional rather than decorative. Combined with the aggressive texture, they give the shooter lateral purchase during yaw — useful when pushing or pulling the muzzle during close work or when recovering from a stumble. A rounded grip offers less resistance in that plane.

Mounting uses BCM’s anchor-and-bolt system: a T15 Torx driver extends the anchor through the KeyMod slots, the grip slides forward to engage integral recoil lugs, and the fastener is torqued to approximately 40 inch-pounds plus a quarter turn. Blue thread locker is recommended on the fastener. The whole assembly weighs 1.9 ounces. Construction is impact-resistant polymer, made in the U.S.A.
