Description

The B-14 Crest is built for backcountry hunters who refuse to compromise between weight savings and mechanical precision. The stock is constructed entirely from carbon fiber — not a composite blend — which keeps mass down on long approaches while remaining rigid enough to hold zero under the stresses of field use. Black and gray sponge pattern accents are integrated into the finish rather than applied as a wrap, and length-of-pull spacers let the shooter tune fit without swapping stocks.

The barrel is CrMo steel, fluted to shed additional weight and improve heat dissipation, and finished in Sniper Gray Cerakote for corrosion resistance in wet terrain. Threading at the muzzle makes it straightforward to mount a suppressor or other muzzle device. The 1:8″ twist rate is well matched to the heavier, longer projectiles that the .22 Creedmoor is designed to push at extended range — shooters running lighter bullets will still stabilize them, but the twist is optimized for bullets in the 80-grain-and-up range where the cartridge earns its efficiency gains over similar centerfire rounds.

The receiver is steel, drilled and tapped, and the bolt is fluted to reduce bearing surface and ease extraction. The Bergara Performance trigger ships from the factory with a pull that most hunters can use as-is, and the two-position safety gives a clear mechanical disconnect between ready and safe. Magazines are AICS-compatible, which broadens aftermarket options considerably. One magazine is included. The Premier Series designation reflects Bergara’s higher-tier fit and finish standards relative to their entry-level lineup.
