Description
The B-14 Squared Crest is built for hunters who cover serious vertical — the kind of ground where every pound on the rifle is a pound that costs you at the top. The stock is manufactured from 100% carbon fiber using a resin-transfer molding process that consolidates dry carbon fiber layups with injected resin, producing a structure that is both rigid and light without the voids or inconsistencies that can appear in hand-laid composites. A carbon spine runs the length of the stock to resist the flex that would otherwise degrade accuracy when shooting from awkward field positions. LOP spacers let you dial the fit without swapping stocks.
The barreled action carries a Sniper Grey Cerakote finish throughout, giving the steel consistent protection against the moisture and condensation that high-altitude hunts routinely produce. The barrel itself is 4140 chrome-moly steel, cold hammer forged and rifled using Bergara’s in-house process. The 1-in-8″ twist rate is matched to the 6.5 Creedmoor’s longer, heavier projectiles — the 140-grain class that most hand-loaders and factory match loads favor for this cartridge. At the muzzle, a 5/8″-24 thread pattern accepts the Bergara Omni muzzle brake that ships with the rifle, and the same thread spec accommodates suppressors should you choose to run one later.
The B-14 action uses a two-bolt lug system with a sliding extractor and a tapered bolt and breech interface designed to smooth the feed and extraction cycle. The two-position safety gives a clean trigger pull in fire mode without adding mechanical creep. Feeding is handled by a detachable AICS-compatible magazine, a format with broad aftermarket support if you want to run additional capacity or different magazine bodies down the road.
