Description
The Bergara Premier HMR Pro is built for shooters who want a rifle that moves between the bench and the field without compromise — precise enough for long-range work, light enough to carry. Chambered in .22 Creedmoor, it sits in a caliber that offers a notably flat trajectory with moderate recoil, which makes reading wind and calling corrections between shots more manageable than with heavier cartridges pushing similar velocities.
The 1-in-8 inch twist rate is well-matched to the heavier, higher-BC projectiles that .22 Creedmoor handloaders and factory ammunition makers typically favor for extended range work. A faster twist stabilizes those longer, heavier bullets that would tumble out of a slower barrel, so you are not giving up bullet selection to get accuracy at distance.
The stock integrates a mini-chassis system rather than relying on conventional pillar or glass bedding. That approach gives you a rigid, repeatable interface between the action and the stock — the geometry holds shot to shot regardless of temperature or humidity changes that would cause a conventional composite stock to shift. The cheek piece adjusts for height, and length-of-pull spacers let you fit the rifle to your build or to different clothing layers in the field. The barrel is fully free-floated, so barrel harmonics are not influenced by stock contact or sling tension.
The barrel is threaded, which allows you to mount a suppressor or muzzle brake without modification. A TriggerTech trigger comes standard, offering a consistent, repeatable break that suits both deliberate precision shooting and faster field work. The rifle ships with one five-round AICS-pattern magazine, which is compatible with a wide range of aftermarket options if additional capacity is needed.
