The B-14 Stoke Compact is Bergara’s answer to a specific problem: shooters with shorter frames who have had to compromise on fit or caliber when shopping bolt-action rifles. The stock is built around a 12.25-inch length of pull as the baseline, with quarter-inch spacers included so the shooter can dial in a precise fit rather than accepting a generic setting. The raised negative comb geometry positions the cheekweld lower than a conventional straight stock, which does two things simultaneously — it moves recoil impulse away from the shooter’s face and brings a smaller shooter’s eye into natural alignment behind a scope without requiring an elevated riser.

The 1-in-8-inch twist rate is a deliberate choice for .300 Blackout use. That rate stabilizes the heavy subsonic projectiles — typically 200 to 220 grains — that define much of what makes the cartridge useful, while still handling standard 110- to 125-grain supersonic loads without issue. Shooters running this primarily with a suppressor on subsonic ammunition will find the twist rate already optimized; no guesswork is required on bullet weight compatibility. The 5/8×24 threaded muzzle is the standard pattern for this caliber and accepts the full range of muzzle devices sized for it.

The barrel carries a Graphite Black Cerakote finish, which resists corrosion and surface wear without adding the maintenance demands of blued steel. Feeding is handled by a single six-round AICS-pattern magazine — a format with broad aftermarket support, so capacity options are not limited to what Bergara ships in the box. The short-action bolt cycles cleanly and pairs well with the compact overall profile the stock geometry establishes. No sights are included, so budget for a mounting solution before the rifle goes to the range.
