Description
The B&T Telescopic Brace Mount is designed for shooters running an MP5K, SP5K, or a compatible clone who want to keep the platform as compact as possible without giving up a stable shooting position. The MP5K’s appeal is its short overall length, and a side-folding or fixed brace works against that by adding width or locking the platform into a single configuration. This mount addresses that trade-off by collapsing straight rearward along the receiver’s axis, so the firearm’s footprint changes only in length, not in profile.
The telescoping mechanism adjusts across five discrete positions, letting the shooter dial in length of pull without tools. Deployment requires no lever release — the brace locks under spring tension and releases by pulling rearward, which means one hand can get the brace into position quickly. When collapsed, the mount stays secured without any secondary latch to manage.
Construction is aluminum and steel in a matte black finish. The aluminum keeps weight in check on a platform that is already built around portability, while the steel components handle the wear surfaces and structural joints where cycling forces concentrate. The mount includes an elastomer buffer, which softens the felt impulse at the rear of the receiver on each shot.
Installation is direct to the MP5K receiver without modification. Compatibility extends to the HK SP5K and most clones built to the same receiver dimensions. The brace itself is sold separately — this mount provides the adapter and telescoping chassis that accepts a compatible brace at the rear.
