CCI’s Blazer Brass Clean-Fire Suppressor load in .45 ACP is purpose-built for shooters running a suppressor on a pistol or carbine who also put in regular range time. The 230-grain TMJ bullet fully encapsulates the lead core, which matters at an indoor range because exposed-lead projectiles shed trace metals into the air with every shot. Combined with CCI’s Clean-Fire primer—formulated without lead, barium, or antimony—the round dramatically cuts down on the airborne heavy metals that accumulate in poorly ventilated spaces over a long session.

Running subsonic at 800 fps, this load stays below the speed of sound without any special chamber or gas-system tuning on your part. That velocity ceiling is the whole point for suppressed use: a bullet that breaks the sound barrier produces a crack regardless of how quiet the suppressor makes the muzzle blast, so keeping the projectile subsonic is what lets the can do its job.
