C&H PLT DWX TO RMR/SRO/HOLO

Description

The C&H Precision adapter plate for the Dan Wesson DWX is built for shooters who want to mount a Trijicon RMR, RMR HD, SRO, or a compatible Holosun optic on a pistol that does not come from the factory with a direct-mount footprint for those sights. Rather than relying on the slide itself to capture the optic hardware, this plate uses patented 416 stainless steel T-nuts embedded in the body of the plate. That geometry gives the mounting screws six to seven full threads of engagement into the nut rather than into the aluminum itself, which means the threads are less susceptible to pulling out or stripping under the repeated recoil impulse of a full-power pistol load.

The plate body is machined from 6061 aluminum and finished in MIL-SPEC Type III hard anodize. Type III anodize is a thicker, harder coat than standard Type II, which matters on a component that lives between a steel slide and a metal optic body and sees constant contact. All screws included in the kit are stainless steel, and because the T-nuts are discrete, replaceable components, damaged hardware can be swapped out without discarding the plate itself. The kit ships with separate screw sets sized for each optic family it supports, so there is no guessing about which fastener pairs with a given sight. Compatible optics include the Trijicon RMR, RMR HD, and SRO, along with the Holosun 407C, 507C, 507Comp, and 508T. C&H Precision machines these plates at their facility in Richmond Hill, Georgia.
