C&H PLT SIG 226/229 RXP TO RMR/SRO

Description

The SIG P226 and P229 RX Series, Pro Series, and AXG Scorpion platforms leave the factory with a Romeo1 Pro optic cut that includes both R1P and RMR-pattern mounting holes. That combination is useful when the pistol ships with an optic installed, but it creates a problem the moment you want to mount a Trijicon RMR or SRO instead: the existing cutout exposes hardware points that need to be sealed before the new optic sits flush and stable. This filler plate from C&H Precision is the purpose-built answer to that specific slide geometry.

The plate is machined from 6061 aluminum on HAAS CNC equipment and finished in MIL-SPEC Type III hard anodizing, which puts a harder, more abrasion-resistant surface on the aluminum than standard anodizing. Plate thickness runs .095″ to .099″, a deliberate tolerance range that keeps the optic at the correct height relative to the slide without adding unnecessary stack. All mounting hardware is stainless steel and is fully replaceable, so a stripped or damaged screw does not mean replacing the plate. The kit includes two M3 plate mounting screws, two 4-40 optic mounting screws, and thread locker — no supplemental hardware is required for installation.

This plate supports the Trijicon RMR, RMR HD, and SRO footprints, as well as Holosun 407C, 507C, 508C, and 508T. It does not fit every SIG P226 or P229 variant — compatibility depends specifically on slides already cut for the Romeo1 Pro with RMR holes. Verify your slide configuration before ordering. If your iron sights need to be swapped out to achieve co-witness with the new optic, C&H recommends consulting their customer service team for height guidance rather than assuming factory sights will work.
