Description

The C&H Precision adapter plate is a straightforward solution for S&W M&P Shield 2.0 owners who want to mount a Holosun 407K or 507K without sending their slide out for milling. The plate drops into the existing optic-ready cut on the Shield 2.0 slide and bridges the footprint difference between the factory recess and the Holosun K-series mounting pattern, letting you run a proven compact red dot on a gun that otherwise wouldn’t accept it directly.

C&H machines the plate from 6061 aluminum on CNC equipment, then applies a MIL-SPEC Type III hard anodize in black. That anodize process produces a finish that is harder than the base aluminum, offering meaningful resistance to corrosion and surface wear in a location that takes regular contact from holsters, hands, and cleaning tools. Stainless steel hardware handles the mechanical side of the mount. The package includes one plate and three M4 x 10.5mm M3H screws for attaching the plate to the slide.

One practical note before installation: C&H recommends dry-fitting every component before committing to a full torqued assembly. Small dimensional variations between individual slides, optics, and hardware lots can affect how parts seat, and identifying any fit issues before thread locker is applied is worth the extra few minutes. The plate is also compatible with the C&H EDC, C&H EDC Enclosed, C&H HNT-R Max, C&H MAX, and Osight S optics in addition to the Holosun 407K and 507K, so your mounting platform stays usable if you later change optics. Achieving the correct co-witness height with your existing iron sights will depend on the specific combination of slide, plate, and optic selected.
