Description
The C&H Precision Speed Feed Pro in brass is a magwell insert designed for competitive shooters and serious trainers running full-size Gen 6 Glock frames. Its primary job is twofold: it closes off the frame cavity to keep debris out when no magazine is seated, and its optimized feed ramp geometry is shaped to reduce the time it takes to seat a fresh magazine under pressure — the kind of marginal gain that matters in timed competition stages where reload splits are scored.
The brass construction is the defining trade-off of this model versus the polymer Speed Feed Pro. Brass is significantly heavier than polymer, and that weight sits low in the grip, shifting the pistol’s balance in a way that dampens muzzle flip and reduces perceived recoil. For a shooter running high round counts in practice or competing in divisions that allow the added mass, that weight becomes an asset rather than a liability. It is not the choice for a carry gun where every ounce matters, but it is the right choice for a range-focused build where shooter fatigue and split times are the variables you are trying to manage.
The insert is precision CNC-machined for a direct fit and is compatible with all Gen 6 full-size Glock frames, covering the G17, G17L, G22, G24, G31, G34, G35, G45, G47, and G19X. This model has been reviewed and approved for use in USPSA competition by the Rules Committee, which removes any ambiguity about running it in sanctioned matches. At 2.6 ounces, the weight addition is meaningful without being excessive, and because the insert does not alter the frame’s external profile, it carries no added print signature for those who also use the host pistol outside of competition.
