Description

Standard AR-15 magazine releases are built for right-handed shooters, and left-handed shooters working with a conventional setup have to break their grip to drop a magazine. This CMMG ambidextrous magazine catch solves that directly: it replaces the factory catch with a design that lets a left-handed shooter actuate the release from the left side of the receiver without shifting the firing hand. Right-handed shooters keep their normal control, so there is no compromise for either user.

Installation follows the same procedure as a standard magazine catch replacement — no gunsmithing, no receiver modification, no special tooling required.
