Description

The CMMG Mk3 Lower Parts Kit gives builders and armorers everything required to complete or rebuild a Mk3 lower receiver chambered for .308 Win / 7.62 NATO. It is aimed at anyone constructing an LR-308 pattern rifle from the ground up, replacing worn components, or keeping a complete spare parts supply on hand for a hard-use precision or duty build.

All components are organized in color-coded packets, which makes staged assembly considerably more manageable than sorting loose parts from a single bag. The kit centers on a mil-spec single-stage trigger group — hammer, trigger, disconnector, and their respective springs — which provides a consistent pull weight and a reset that experienced shooters will find familiar and predictable. The safety selector, detent, and spring are included, as are the bolt catch assembly, magazine catch, pivot and takedown pins with their detents and springs, and a buffer retainer with spring. CMMG also includes one of their A2-style pistol grips with the grip screw and washer, so no separate grip purchase is needed to get the lower fully functional.

Combining this kit with a compatible buttstock or brace kit completes the lower group.
