Description
The CMMG Zeroed Hub Mount in .578×28 is designed for shooters who want a dedicated, repeatable attachment point for the Zeroed system on barrels threaded to that specification. The .578×28 thread pattern is common on pistol-caliber carbines and larger-bore pistol platforms, so this mount is aimed at builders and owners working in those configurations rather than standard 1/2×28 or 5/8×24 rifle setups.
The “Hub” designation refers to CMMG’s modular Zeroed mounting interface, which is built around a centralized attachment concept that allows compatible Zeroed accessories to be swapped without requiring the entire device to be removed and re-timed. That matters in practice because standard muzzle devices that thread directly onto a barrel must be clocked to a specific rotational position and then held there — a process that often involves crush washers, peel washers, or shims. A hub-based system instead separates the fixed base from the removable outer component, so once the mount is properly torqued and set, accessories can be changed without disturbing that baseline position.
This variant ships in black. It is a purpose-built component for shooters already invested in the Zeroed ecosystem or considering building into it, and it is only useful on barrels with a .578×28 muzzle thread. Verify your barrel’s thread specification before ordering — this mount will not work on finer or coarser thread pitches, even if the diameter appears close.
