Description
The King Cobra Target in .22 LR is built for the shooter who wants a dedicated rimfire revolver capable of serious range work — whether that means developing a consistent double-action trigger pull, working on slow-fire precision, or simply putting a lot of rounds downrange without the cost of centerfire ammunition. The long sight radius that comes with a 6-inch barrel gives you a meaningful advantage at distance, and the adjustable rear sight lets you dial in elevation and windage rather than hold corrections.
The front sight is a fiber optic, which pulls in ambient light to give you a bright, fast acquisition point even under flat or overcast conditions. That combination — a precise adjustable rear paired with a light-gathering fiber optic up front — suits both deliberate target shooting and timed drills where you need to find your sight picture quickly. The action runs double-action and single-action, so you can shoot it either way depending on the task: DA for realistic defensive practice or competition stage runs, SA when the shot demands a cleaner break.
The frame, cylinder, and barrel are stainless, which means the finish handles humidity and neglect better than blued steel and shows wear more gradually. The grip is a Hogue Overmolded unit, which wraps the frame in a rubber-over-insert construction that absorbs some of the vibration from ignition and fills the hand consistently regardless of grip pressure. At 10 rounds, the cylinder capacity takes full advantage of the rimfire format, giving you more trigger time before a reload than a comparable centerfire wheelgun would.
