The body is injection-molded from a proprietary glass-infused polymer blend, which keeps weight down without sacrificing the rigidity needed to anchor a firing hand under recoil. Glass reinforcement matters here because an unreinforced polymer grip can flex under a tight squeeze, subtly degrading consistency. The hollow, slim profile reduces bulk on the rail, which becomes noticeable on carbines where handguard real estate is already contested by lights, pressure switches, and sling hardware.

Soft-touch rubber overmolding runs along both sides of the grip.
