The EOTech G43 is a compact 3x magnifier built for shooters who want to extend the effective range of their holographic weapon sight without committing to a dedicated magnified optic. It pairs with any EOTech HWS model, letting you run the sight at unity power for close work and transition to magnified for longer shots — a trade-off that suits mixed-environment use where target distances aren’t predictable.

The G43 is a scaled-down derivative of EOTech’s G33 Magnifier, with the same optical and mechanical intent in a lighter, shorter package. The body is machined from aluminum, keeping the unit rigid without adding unnecessary mass to an already-weighted rifle or carbine setup. Eye relief sits at 2.5 inches, which gives enough margin to stay on target through a standard cheek weld without forcing an awkward head position. Field of view at 3x measures 7.5 degrees — enough to read target detail at carbine distances without the tunnel narrowing that comes with higher magnification.

This version ships without a mount, which matters if you already have a switch-to-side mount from a previous setup or prefer to spec your own. The switch-to-side mechanism is the practical core of the system: it lets you cant the magnifier out of the optical path instantly rather than removing it, so transitioning between magnified and unmagnified doesn’t interrupt your firing position. At 3.1 inches long and 11.3 ounces, it adds less bulk forward of the receiver than a traditional variable-power scope and leaves the holographic sight as the primary aiming reference. The G43.NM fits Weaver and MIL-STD-1913 rail systems.
