The propellant is a fine progressive-burning powder, which means it builds pressure gradually as the shot column moves down the bore. The wad is perforated by design, which allows it to release the shot column cleanly and consistently — an important factor for pattern uniformity at typical clay distances. The shot itself is magnum-grade and multi-screened, meaning it has been sorted for size consistency. Rounder, more uniform pellets deform less on acceleration, which translates directly to tighter, more predictable patterns downrange.

Biaxial orientation means the plastic has been stressed in two directions during manufacture, giving it better dimensional stability and resilience through repeated firing and, for reloaders, through multiple reloading cycles.
