Description

The Grand Power P1S Mk23 is a compact, hammer-fired pistol built around Grand Power’s rotating barrel system, which aligns the barrel directly with the slide’s axis of travel during cycling. That geometry reduces muzzle flip compared to a tilting-barrel design, so the gun returns to the same point of aim more consistently between shots — a meaningful advantage for a carry-sized pistol where the grip is shorter and leverage is reduced. The P1S itself is a hybrid platform, pairing the narrower grip of Grand Power’s P11 with the slide and barrel assembly of the P1, specifically to trim the overall package for concealed carry while preserving a 12-round capacity.

The double-action/single-action trigger gives the first shot a longer, heavier pull — the manual thumb safety aside, this adds a deliberate mechanical layer before the pistol fires. Subsequent shots fall to a lighter single-action pull. The manual safety is ambidextrous, keeping the control accessible regardless of which hand is drawing. Three-dot sights come standard, and the slide is optic-ready out of the box with four adapter baseplates covering the most common red dot footprints, so mounting a reflex sight does not require aftermarket milling. Deep grip checkering runs across the polymer frame without interchangeable backstraps — the texture alone handles purchase. The frame includes an accessory rail for light or laser attachment. Three magazines are included in the box.
