The H&K P30SK and VP9SK share a magazine well, and this flush-fit factory magazine is the standard-capacity option for either pistol. It is the baseline for concealed carry use — no grip extension, no added length below the frame, nothing to catch on a holster or a cover garment. For a subcompact platform, that geometry matters: the magazine sits entirely within the grip and presents a clean, snag-free profile.

The body is steel, which keeps the feed lips dimensionally stable under the stress of being loaded and unloaded repeatedly over time. Polymer magazines can flex slightly under that cycling; steel does not. The trade-off is a small weight penalty, but for a magazine that will spend most of its life in a holster, that is rarely a meaningful concern. The follower and spring are engineered to H&K’s feed geometry, so reliability with the pistol’s feed ramp is not a variable you are introducing into the system by running a factory part.

If you are running a P30SK or VP9SK as a primary carry gun, it is worth having at least one spare loaded to the same round count as your carry magazine so that you can rotate stock without guessing at round count. This magazine feeds 9mm and fits only the SK variants — the standard P30 and VP9 use a different, longer magazine that is not interchangeable. The flush floorplate is replaceable with H&K’s extended options if you want additional capacity or a more positive grip for a reload, though that will add length below the grip frame.
