At the center of each round is Hornady’s XTP — eXtreme Terminal Performance — jacketed hollow point bullet. That controlled expansion matters because it keeps the bullet expanding reliably across a range of impact velocities, not just at the upper end of its velocity envelope. The brass cases are Hornady’s own, loaded with a non-corrosive Boxer primer — which means the cases are reloadable and straightforward to deprime if you reload.
