HUXWRX FLASH HIDER QD 762 5/8X24

Description

The HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD 762 is a purpose-built muzzle device for shooters who run .308/7.62 NATO rifles unsuppressed some of the time and suppressed the rest. Its design addresses a straightforward problem: a standard flash hider does nothing to help you attach a suppressor quickly, and a bare threaded muzzle is a compromise either way. The QD mounting interface solves that by serving as the anchor point for HUXWRX’s own suppressor line, so transitioning between bare and suppressed configurations does not require tools or a separate adapter swap.

The device is compatible with the HX-QD 762, 762 Ti, and Magnum Ti suppressors as a direct mount. It also works with the Flow 762 Ti. Pairing it with the HUXWRX HUB QD Adapter extends compatibility to the VENTUM series as well. One compatibility rule worth keeping in mind: a larger-caliber mount will not work on a smaller-caliber suppressor, though a smaller-caliber mount will run on a larger-caliber suppressor. The 5/8″-24 thread pattern is the standard pitch for .30-caliber rifle barrels, so fitment is straightforward on any correctly threaded .308 or 7.62 NATO host.

At 2.3 inches total length, with 1.7 inches added to the barrel’s measured length, the device adds minimal overall length while still providing meaningful flash mitigation when you are shooting without the can attached. Construction is by HUXWRX Safety Company, the same manufacturer behind the suppressor line this mount is designed to feed, which means the interface geometry is developed in-house rather than adapted from a third-party standard.
