Heckler & Koch’s factory 20-round magazine for the VP9 and P30 gives shooters who run those platforms more rounds between reloads without resorting to aftermarket alternatives. Because it comes directly from H&K’s German production line, the geometry and feed-lip dimensions are held to the same tolerances as the magazines shipped with the pistols themselves — a meaningful consideration when reliability under stress is the point.

Construction pairs a steel magazine body with an internal stainless steel spring, which maintains consistent follower pressure across the full round count and resists the fatigue that can develop in polymer springs over long storage. The polymer baseplate extension is the factory piece, not an add-on, so the overall profile is purpose-built rather than assembled from separate components. The magazine body is marked with factory witness holes so round count is readable at a glance without having to strip it from the pistol.

Compatibility spans the full VP9 and P30 families — VP9, VP9 OR, VP9 Tactical, VP9-B, VP9F, VP9X, VP9L, P30, P30L, and P30S — but it is not designed for the compact VP9SK, VP9K, or P30SK. Shooters running aftermarket low-profile magwells should note that a minor baseplate modification may be required for flush fit. For standard factory magwells and competition-oriented setups where round capacity matters, this magazine drops in and runs without alteration.
