The Wilson Combat Elite Tactical Magazine is built for the shooter who relies on a compact 9mm 1911 and cannot afford a feeding failure. It fits the Officer-size 1911 platform and holds 8 rounds flush with the frame, meaning no basepad protrudes to catch on a holster or a cover garment during a draw.

The tube is the foundation of everything this magazine does. Wilson Combat built it from aircraft-grade certified stainless steel with a wall thickness of .025 inches — enough to resist the tube spreading and feed lip cracking that tend to appear in magazines after sustained use. The bends in the tube are radiused to work with the grain of the steel rather than against it, preserving strength where stress would otherwise concentrate. Observation slots are positioned toward the rear of the tube rather than the sides, which keeps the structurally critical portions of the tube intact while still letting you confirm round count at a glance.

Feeding was addressed from the follower up. The redesigned tube geometry includes a small front ramp that redirects the nose of short or hollow-point rounds upward during the feed cycle, correcting the nose-down presentation that causes malfunctions in single-stack 9mm 1911s. The follower itself is steel, which means it reliably activates the slide stop on the last round even in pistols where a polymer follower might not generate enough upward force. An extended skirt on the follower keeps it stable and reduces lateral creep as the magazine empties. Every component is either stainless steel or a heavy-duty nylon — there is nothing in this magazine that will rust or corrode in field conditions.
