The tube is formed from aircraft-grade certified stainless steel with .027-inch walls and then heat treated, which stiffens the body against the kind of deformation that causes feeding problems after a magazine gets dropped repeatedly on a range floor. The spring is heavy-duty stainless steel wound to maximum tensile strength, so it maintains consistent round pressure across the full stack rather than losing tension near the top where most feeding failures originate.

The follower is fiber-filled, self-lubricating nylon. That material choice matters because it reduces friction against the tube without requiring any added lubrication, and its geometry is cut to resist nose-dive — the tendency of a cartridge to tip downward as it strips off the top of the stack, which is a common cause of feed-path interruptions in .45 ACP magazines. The extended polymer base pad adds .625 inches of grip purchase at the bottom of the magazine, giving a more positive seat during tactical reloads without significantly altering the silhouette.
