Description

The Magpul EHG RG9 is a replacement grip module for the Ruger RXM Compact, designed for shooters who find the factory grip either too large or too small for consistent indexing, or who simply want a different surface texture and feel under hand. Because the RXM is a modular pistol, the entire grip frame can be swapped without gunsmithing—the EHG RG9 drops in as a complete unit rather than requiring fitting or permanent modification to the host pistol.

Magpul built the EHG around a polymer construction, which keeps weight down and allows for tighter, more consistent molded-in texture than is practical with machined metal. The grip geometry and surface pattern are tailored specifically to the RXM Compact chassis, so controls remain at the same relative positions and existing holsters built for the RXM Compact footprint continue to work. That specificity matters: a grip module that alters the profile even slightly can make a carry holster unreliable at retention or draw.

This is a practical upgrade for someone running the RXM Compact as a carry or duty pistol and wanting a different hand fit or texture character than the factory module provides. It ships in Magpul’s standard Black finish, and the same module is offered in additional colors for those coordinating a build. Installation requires only the tools needed to field-strip the RXM and separate the chassis from the grip frame—no permanent alterations to the firearm are involved.
