Description

The Magpul MOE M-LOK Hand Guard is a drop-in replacement for AR-15 and M4 rifles running mid-length gas systems, built for shooters who want modular accessory mounting without committing to a full free-float rail setup. The mid-length gas system geometry matters here: the handguard is sized to clear the gas block and seat correctly against the delta ring on a mid-length carbine, so fitment depends on matching that configuration rather than simply measuring overall barrel length.

Construction is reinforced, heat-resistant polymer. That choice keeps weight down relative to an aluminum rail handguard and costs nothing in day-to-day durability for a standard-use rifle. The polymer also provides some insulation against heat transfer during sustained fire, which is relevant because the front extension and lower lip are specifically shaped to give the support hand clearance from a hot front sight assembly — a practical detail for anyone running a fixed or pinned front sight block.

M-LOK slots at the two, six, and ten o’clock positions let you mount lights, slings, vertical grips, and other M-LOK-compatible accessories directly to the handguard body without an intermediary adapter. Optional Picatinny rail sections are available separately for accessories that require a 1913 rail interface. This keeps the handguard trim and snag-free until you need the real estate. The Olive Drab Green finish blends with standard OD kit and coordinates with the rest of Magpul’s MOE lineup in the same color. Manufactured in the USA.
