Description
The Magpul MOE SL Handguard for the HK94 and MP5 addresses a real limitation of those platforms: the factory handguard offers limited real estate, a shape that can work against positive control under stress, and no native attachment points for lights, lasers, or other accessories. This replacement is injection-molded from high-strength polymer, which keeps weight down without sacrificing the rigidity needed to hold accessories securely under use.
The defining feature is M-LOK compatibility at the three, six, and nine o’clock positions. M-LOK works by threading hardware directly through slotted openings into T-nuts that lock behind the rail surface — a mechanical attachment that resists rotation and pull-out better than friction-fit picatinny clamps, and one that sits flush when nothing is mounted. That means you add only what you actually need and carry none of the weight you don’t.
The handguard also incorporates anti-slip texturing across the gripping surfaces and a small hand stop at the muzzle end. The hand stop functions as a passive index point: it gives the support hand a consistent reference without adding a dedicated vertical grip, and it prevents the hand from drifting forward onto the muzzle crown under recoil or during a press-out. The ergonomic profile is shared with Magpul’s broader SL handguard family, so the feel will be familiar to anyone who has run that system on another platform. Manufactured in the USA and built to fit the HK94, MP5, and their clones directly.
