Magpul uses an all-polymer body throughout — not as a cost measure, but because properly engineered polymer resists the crush and impact damage that can deform metal magazines and cause feeding failures over a service life measured in thousands of rounds. The material also sheds weight, which matters when you are carrying several spares. The spring is stainless steel, chosen for corrosion resistance and long-term tension retention.

The controlled-tilt follower keeps rounds at a consistent angle as the magazine empties, which matters most in the final rounds where geometry shifts and feeding reliability can degrade in less carefully designed magazines. Capacity indicator windows on both sides let you assess round count without dropping the magazine, and they are positioned at the points — ten, fifteen, and twenty-one rounds — where a quick glance actually tells you something useful. The floorplate is ridged for purchase during a loaded-magazine removal and removes without tools for inspection and cleaning. A dot matrix panel on the body accepts paint pen markings for individual magazine identification, a practical feature when running several identical magazines on the same range session.

The magazine is compatible with all full-size, compact, and sub-compact double-stack Glock 9mm pistols, though it will protrude below the grip on the more compact frames. It drops free loaded or unloaded.
