Description

The Magpul TMAG in Olive Drab Translucent is a 20-round magazine built for Colt-spec AR15, M4, and M16 platforms chambered in 5.56×45 NATO and .223 Remington. It also feeds reliably in a range of STANAG 4179-compatible rifles, including the HK 416, MR556, FN SCAR MK16, IWI Tavor, and the M27 IAR, making it a practical choice for shooters who run more than one platform.

The translucent Olive Drab body serves a functional purpose: you can read your round count and identify ammunition type at a glance without removing the magazine from the weapon. The material is tinted rather than clear, which cuts glare and reduces visual signature compared to fully clear polymer while preserving that visibility advantage. Ribbed straps on the body give your fingers purchase during a fast reload, and the smooth panels between them keep the translucency legible rather than obscured by texture.

Internally, a corrosion-resistant stainless-steel spring maintains consistent feed-lip pressure across the full round count, and a four-way anti-tilt follower keeps each cartridge properly indexed as it rises toward the chamber — both of which matter more in a 20-round configuration where the follower travels the entire column on every load cycle. A molded dot matrix on the body accepts paint-pen markings, letting you label magazines by load, date, or user without adding tape or aftermarket tags.
