TTT is a European shot designation that corresponds to size F in the U.S. market — pellets roughly 0.22 inches in diameter, sitting just below #4 buckshot in size. That puts each pellet in a category that delivers serious terminal energy while still allowing 26 of them to fit in a single 2 3/4-inch hull, which is where the pattern density advantage comes from. More pellets at that diameter means a denser pattern downrange compared to a true buckshot load, without sacrificing individual pellet mass the way a fine birdshot charge would.

Muzzle velocity is rated at 1,250 fps, a reasonable balance for a 13/16-oz. payload in 20 gauge — fast enough for consistent pellet expansion and energy transfer at practical defensive and hunting distances, without generating recoil that makes follow-up shots difficult in a lighter gun.
