The 124-grain bullet weight sits between the lighter 115-grain and heavier 147-grain options in Magtech’s own 9mm lineup. That middle ground tends to produce a slightly fuller push compared to the snappier 115-grain, while still cycling reliably in the wide range of 9mm platforms built around standard-pressure loads. Shooters who find 115-grain a bit sharp often settle on 124-grain as their standard practice weight.

Full metal jacket construction keeps the bullet jacket intact through the barrel and target, which matters for range use — most indoor facilities require FMJ precisely because it doesn’t shed lead the way exposed lead-core bullets can. Brass cases and Boxer primers make these rounds reloader-friendly if you collect brass; the one-piece primer pocket of Boxer construction accepts standard decapping and repriming without the complications of Berdan-primed cases.

Magtech loads and assembles everything in-house at their facility in Brazil, which means component consistency isn’t dependent on outside suppliers varying their specs between production runs. Muzzle velocity is measured from a 4-inch test barrel. Boxes contain 50 rounds; the case packs 1,000.
