Description

The MDT CKYE-Pod Gen3 Single-Pull is built around one priority: getting a precision shooter into position and on target without losing seconds to equipment. It is aimed squarely at PRS and field match competitors who move between stages quickly and cannot afford a bipod that requires two hands, multiple steps, or mental bandwidth to deploy. A single pull of the leg releases and extends it, which matters when you are transitioning under the clock.

MDT redesigned every surface for the Gen3 iteration. The legs, latches, and knobs now carry machined texture rather than applied surface treatment, so the grip points remain functional regardless of how much field wear accumulates. Larger knobs make manipulation reliable with gloves or under stress. The legs lock in the stowed position to prevent accidental deployment while moving between props or barricades, which eliminates one more variable in a timed stage.

Structural rigidity received particular attention: the tighter build reduces the play and micro-movement that can shift point of impact between shots. The cant system is designed to hold its set tension across extended use rather than walking loose over a long match, so the rifle stays level on uneven terrain without repeated adjustment. Spiked feet and stainless steel pins give the platform purchase on hard and soft surfaces alike.

The AP Throw Lever head attaches to standard Picatinny and ARCA rails with an adjustable lever rather than a fixed screw, accommodating rail variations without tools. Legs are removable with a single Allen key for cleaning after a muddy or wet stage, letting you service the bipod and get back into competition. The anodized aluminum construction keeps weight down while maintaining the structural integrity needed under recoil.
