Description
The MDT GRND-POD is a precision rifle bipod built for shooters who want legitimate competitive-grade features without spending what the top-tier CKYE-POD commands. It is particularly well suited to precision rifle sport competitors and long-range hunters who need to adapt quickly to whatever ground they are working from.
The legs are constructed from carbon fiber over a 6061-T6 aluminum core, a pairing that keeps weight down while maintaining enough rigidity to resist flex under recoil. High-strength polymer buttons handle leg deployment and locking, and the whole leg adjustment sequence can be managed with one hand, leaving the support hand on the rifle. Each leg locks into four positions — 0°, 50°, 80°, and 180° — giving the shooter meaningful options whether they are shooting prone on flat ground or angled into a hillside. Height adjusts from 4.5 inches in the forward 50° position to 9.0 inches in the 90° down position, covering the range most prone and low-supported shooting scenarios demand.
Cant is built in with a tension adjustment that requires no tools, so dialing resistance to suit personal preference or terrain does not slow setup. The bipod accepts both CKYE-POD and ATLAS compatible feet, which matters if you already have a foot system you prefer or want to swap between spiked and rubber depending on surface. Attachment to the rifle uses an M-LOK interface, so no Picatinny rail section is required on the handguard. The finish is MDT’s standard Black.
