Description

The Reptilia ROF-45 is an offset mount built for shooters running a magnified optic as their primary and a Trijicon RMR or SRO as their close-range backup. The offset design positions the red dot at 45 degrees from the bore axis, which means transitioning to it requires nothing more than a natural cant of the rifle — no swapping optics, no adjusting magnification under stress. That geometry is the entire point of the ROF-45: it keeps both optics simultaneously available and eliminates the lag of any other transition method.

The mount is machined from aluminum and finished in a black anodized coating, which gives it corrosion resistance without adding meaningful weight to the overall rig. The 34mm tube diameter governs which scope hosts this mount — it attaches to the scope body itself, not the rail — and Reptilia designed the ROF-45 to mate with both the Reptilia AUS mount system and the Geissele Super Precision scope mount, so the interface between host scope and offset sight is consistent and repeatable rather than dependent on a rail section that can shift under recoil.

Because the RMR footprint is a known quantity with tight dimensional tolerances, the optic seats firmly and returns to zero reliably after removal.
