Description

The Reptilia ROF-90 is built for shooters running a magnified optic on a 30mm tube who need a reliable solution for close-range work without giving up their primary glass. It mounts at 90 degrees—the 12 o’clock position—atop a Reptilia AUS mount or a Geissele Super Precision 34mm ring, placing an Aimpoint ACRO P-1, ACRO P-2, or Steiner MPS directly above the bore axis where it can be acquired quickly without breaking cheek weld on the main optic.

The practical argument for this kind of offset arrangement goes beyond convenience. When running a suppressed rifle with subsonic 300 AAC Blackout, you can zero the ACRO or MPS specifically for that load and trajectory, leaving the magnified optic zeroed for supersonic ammunition. Swapping between the two becomes a matter of tilting the rifle rather than adjusting turrets or changing zero—a meaningful advantage when conditions or targets change quickly.

The mount is machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in Reptilia’s Flat Dark Earth anodize, which matches the palette of common mil-spec and commercial receivers without the inconsistency of paint or Cerakote applied over raw aluminum. Because it is a drop-in component designed around Reptilia’s and Geissele’s existing ring geometry, fitment requires no additional adapters or machining.
