Description
Riton’s scope ring series is built for shooters who want a straightforward, dependable mounting solution without unnecessary complexity. These 34mm medium rings are a practical fit for larger objective lenses that need a bit of extra clearance without pushing the scope so high that cheek weld becomes awkward — medium height sits between the extremes, making it a workable choice for most standard rifle stocks paired with modern 34mm main-tube optics.
The rings are machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, which gives the set a useful combination of rigidity and low added weight. Aluminum at this alloy grade holds its shape under repeated recoil without the mass penalty of steel rings, which matters when you’re trying to keep a rifle’s total weight in check. The interior of each ring is lined with a cushioning pad that improves contact distribution around the scope tube, reducing the risk of finish wear or stress concentrations at the cap screw edges. A single cross-rail recoil lug on each ring engages the Picatinny rail to resist longitudinal movement under recoil rather than relying on clamp friction alone. The black anodize finish resists corrosion and blends cleanly with most modern rifle setups. Cap screws torque to 15 inch-pounds and base screws to 30 inch-pounds — specific figures that matter when mounting, since under-torquing invites shift and over-torquing risks crushing the tube. An Allen key is included in the set.
