Each pair is serialized, meaning the top and bottom halves are matched at the factory and machined together from 7075-T6 aluminum, so they return to the same geometry every time they go back on the rail.

The mounting base is cut to the 1913 Picatinny specification, with a center lug machined directly into the ring body rather than added as a separate cross-bolt. That integral lug seats squarely into a Picatinny slot and resists rearward movement under recoil without the slop that a removable lug can introduce over time. Because the lug is part of the ring itself, there is no secondary component to loosen or shift.

The four-screw cap design distributes clamping force across a wider surface than a two-screw arrangement, which reduces the risk of point-loading pressure on the scope tube — relevant when you are running a premium optic and want the tube to stay round. The edges are radiused and smooth, so the rings will not snag on a drag bag or case when you are pulling the rifle quickly.
