The rings are machined from 7075-T6 aluminum billet, a grade chosen for its strength-to-weight ratio — it holds torque without deforming under recoil while keeping mass off the top of the rifle. The Type III hardcoat anodize is Mil-Spec Class 2, which means the surface is harder and more abrasion-resistant than standard anodizing, relevant for rings that get handled and re-torqued across seasons of use.

The 1.0″ height positions the centerline of a 34mm tube one inch above the bore axis. That clearance suits most bolt rifles with standard objective bells without forcing the shooter into an awkward cheek weld, though anyone running an oversized objective should verify the fit against their specific stock before ordering. The Picatinny interface follows the 1913 Mil-Spec rail standard, so alignment and fitment are consistent across any compliant rail without shimming or adjustment.
