Seekins Precision builds these 34mm rings for shooters who need a solid, repeatable mount without adding unnecessary bulk to the rifle. The rings are machined from 7075-T6 aluminum billet, a grade chosen for its strength-to-weight ratio — it holds torque without deforming under recoil while keeping mass off the top of the rifle. The Type III hardcoat anodize is Mil-Spec Class 2, which means the surface is harder and more abrasion-resistant than standard anodizing, relevant for rings that get handled and re-torqued across seasons of use.
The 1.0″ height positions the centerline of a 34mm tube one inch above the bore axis. That clearance suits most bolt rifles with standard objective bells without forcing the shooter into an awkward cheek weld, though anyone running an oversized objective should verify the fit against their specific stock before ordering. The Picatinny interface follows the 1913 Mil-Spec rail standard, so alignment and fitment are consistent across any compliant rail without shimming or adjustment. A center lug machined directly into the ring body — rather than added as a separate part — handles the anti-rotation function without introducing an extra joint that could shift under load. Cap screws are Grade 8 T25 Torx, which gives more engagement surface than a hex drive at the same head size and resists cam-out when torquing to spec. Rings are serialized as matched pairs, so if you remove and reinstall them, you return the same two rings to the same positions. Four-cap construction distributes clamping load evenly around the scope tube, reducing the risk of point pressure that can distort a tube or shift zero.
