It is built for the western hunter who covers serious miles before pulling the trigger, and for whom every ounce on the way in becomes a real consideration.

Chambering it in 6mm Creedmoor shapes the entire character of the rifle. The cartridge sits in a performance band that delivers a flat trajectory and manageable recoil impulse, which matters on a platform this light because there is less mass to absorb the push. The 1-in-8-inch twist rate is fast enough to stabilize the heavier, higher-BC 6mm projectiles that make the cartridge genuinely useful at distance — you are not limited to lighter bullets if conditions or quarry call for something with more sectional density.

The 20-inch barrel is a considered compromise. Dropping below a standard 24-inch hunting profile costs some muzzle velocity, but it shortens the overall package meaningfully in dense timber and reduces the lever arm that makes a long barrel feel unwieldy in the field. For 6mm Creedmoor, the velocity loss at 20 inches is real but modest, and most hunters working within practical field distances will not feel it in the terminal results.

The included single-stack carbon fiber magazine keeps the feedlip geometry consistent and shaves weight compared to a steel alternative, which fits the weight-forward design philosophy of the whole rifle.
