Description
Sig Sauer’s Marksman Hunter line is built around one premise: put a premium hunting projectile in a factory load that performs consistently at the ranges where big-game shots actually happen. This 7mm Remington Magnum loading uses the Sierra GameKing bullet, a hollow point boat tail design that has earned a long track record among hunters for its controlled expansion across a wide range of impact velocities. That matters in a flat-shooting cartridge like the 7mm Rem Mag, where the bullet may arrive at the target moving considerably faster or slower depending on the distance, and a projectile that only opens reliably in a narrow velocity window is a liability in the field.
The boat tail configuration reduces aerodynamic drag as the bullet transitions from muzzle velocity to the slower speeds at longer range, helping preserve both energy and accuracy. Combined with the 160-grain weight, which sits toward the heavier end of common 7mm loadings, this round carries enough sectional density to penetrate deeply on elk, mule deer, and similar quarry without sacrificing the flat trajectory the 7mm Remington Magnum cartridge is known for. Brass-cased and boxer-primed construction means fired cases can be reloaded for those who sort and save their brass.
Each box contains 20 rounds. Cases of 200 rounds are also available for those stocking up before a season or confirming a zero across an extended range session.
