Description

This is the OEM threaded barrel Sig Sauer produces for the P320 Compact and P250 Compact, intended for shooters who want to run a suppressor or compensator on their existing pistol without sourcing an aftermarket fit. Because it comes from the same manufacturer that built the host pistol, it is machined to the same specifications and headspaces the way the factory barrel does — there is no break-in period or reliability tuning required.

The barrel extends past the slide, which is necessary to expose the threaded muzzle. The 1/2×28 thread pattern is the standard pitch for 9mm muzzle devices, so it is compatible with the broad range of suppressors and compensators built to that specification. Installation requires no gunsmithing: remove the slide, swap the barrel, reassemble. A thread protector cap is included to protect the threads when no muzzle device is attached.

The 1:10 twist rate is well matched to the full range of common 9mm projectile weights, from 115-grain through 147-grain loads, so you are not restricted to a narrow ammunition window. The Nitron finish is Sig’s standard corrosion-resistant surface treatment, the same used on their production pistols.
